While you march towards the Pyrenees, you face high resistance among Spanish Catalonian tribes. In months you are cornered by Roman legions, the bitter men of Saguntum, and an alliance of Spanish tribes. In a final skirmish you are defeated and killed in battle. War tithes from your father’s war with Rome are increased as punishment to all the Carthaginian empire for your folly.
